Job Description:
We are looking to add a committed and capable Kitchen Assistant to our team. Assisting our chefs and kitchen workers with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards will be your responsibility as a Kitchen Helper. Maintaining food safety and quality standards while ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations will be your main priority.

Requirement:
– Help cooks and kitchen employees with duties related to meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and combining items.
– Keep the kitchen neat and orderly by doing tasks like dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash.
– To avoid cross-contamination and guarantee food safety, follow to appropriate food handling practices and safety measures.
– Help receive and store food and supply delivery, making sure perishables are properly stored and cycled.
– Maintaining an eye on stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying management to any shortages or irregularities all help with inventory management.

Requirement:

– While not necessary, prior experience working in a kitchen setting is preferred.
– Basic knowledge of food safety procedures and principles.
the capacity to work together with others and obey directions.
– The ability to move large objects and stand for a long amount of time.
– Positivity and excellent communication abilities.
– The ability to work on the weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
