Position Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients visiting our clinic and play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient experiences. You will be responsible for managing front desk activities, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and providing administrative support to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
Schedule patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with medical staff to optimize scheduling and minimize wait times.
Verify patient information and insurance details accurately, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) system, inputting patient data, updating records, and ensuring confidentiality.
Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries in collaboration with the finance department.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination within the clinic.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a medical receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service role in a healthcare setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using computer software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and healthcare regulations preferred.
Fluency in English; additional language skills (Arabic, Hindi, etc.) are advantageous.
