Octane.Rent Wins Best Luxury Car Rental Company in the Middle East at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2026

Octane.Rent, a luxury and sports car rental company based in Dubai, has won two titles at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2026: Best Luxury Car Rental Company in the Middle East and Best Sports Car Rentals in the United Arab Emirates. The result comes one year after the company’s first award from the same program, which recognized it as the best luxury car rental company in the Middle East and North Africa region.

For residents, tourists and business travelers choosing a rental car in the UAE, an award decided by public votes and a published procedure is a useful signal. This guide explains what was won, how the program works and what the winning company offers.

The 2026 result

Octane.Rent’s official page on the World Luxury Travel Awards website lists the company as a Continent Winner for 2026 and a Regional Winner for 2025. The 2026 awards are the sixth annual edition of the program, which covers a wide range of travel categories, including car rental, cruises, tours and hotels.

Octane.Rent was recognized in two categories. Best Luxury Car Rental Company in the Middle East measures the company against car rental businesses across the whole region. Best Sports Car Rentals in the United Arab Emirates focuses on performance cars in the UAE, where sports car rental is a large part of the tourism and leisure market.

How the World Luxury Travel Awards are decided

The awards procedure published by the organizers has several stages:

• Nomination. Travel establishments can nominate themselves, and guests, travel agents and tour operators can nominate them through the website. Criteria include service, attention to detail, facilities, customer reviews and local knowledge.
• Voting. Voting happens online during a set season. Voters can be travelers, social media followers, newsletter subscribers, tour operators, staff and industry peers. Only one vote may be cast per email address for each establishment.
• Levels. Companies compete at country, regional, continent and global level, and only establishments in the same category compete with each other. The continents include the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa.
• Fairness. The size of an establishment is not considered during nomination or voting, so a specialist company competes on the same terms as a larger group.
• Results. Interim results follow voting, and official winners are confirmed at the gala ceremonies.

Voting is based on the experience as a whole, together with service excellence, attention to detail and efficiency. For a car rental company, that covers how a booking is handled, the condition of the car, delivery, communication and how problems are resolved.

What Octane.Rent offers

Who benefits from this kind of service

Tourists arriving at Dubai International or Al Maktoum airport can have a car delivered at any hour, which avoids a trip to a rental office after a long flight. Residents use monthly rentals when they are between cars, waiting for a vehicle delivery or testing a model before buying. Business travelers rent executive sedans and SUVs for meetings, and event organizers book premium cars for guests and arrivals. A fleet that includes both economy and exotic cars lets one company serve all of these needs.

What to check when choosing a rental company in the UAE

An award is one input. Renters comparing providers can also check:

• whether insurance is included in the quoted price;
• whether a security deposit is required, and how it is returned;
• delivery points and hours;
• how many verified reviews the company has and how recent they are;
• which support channels are available at night and on weekends;
• the payment methods accepted.

Octane.Rent answers each of these on its booking pages, and its rating across more than 1,700 Google reviews gives a large sample of customer experience.

Growth beyond Dubai

The company is based in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Dubai. In 2026 it opened its first international location in Brickell, Miami, taking the Dubai delivery-first rental model to a second market. The awards add recognition to a company that is expanding its footprint.

How to book

Reservations are made online. Renters choose a car, select the rental period and delivery point and confirm through the luxury car rental in Dubai service. Support is available around the clock for questions before and during the rental.
